Biographical Sketch

Buccola joined the Department of Applied Economics in 1981 and became a professor in 1988. 

He is a Fellow and former President of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, and has served as editor of the American Journal of Agricultural Economics and on the editorial boards of four other professional journals.

Teaching

Buccola teaches PhD- and MS-level courses in microeconomic theory.  He recently has been teaching Advanced Microeconomic Theory I (AEC 611), covering production and consumption economics; and Microeconomic Theory II (AEC 513), covering welfare, market power, uncertainty, and public goods.
