An internship is a great way to apply course material to the work place. Every student receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business Management (ABM) and Environmental Economics and Policy (EEP) is required to complete an internship. NOTE: The internship agreement form will need to be completed before you begin your internship.


  • The Internship Agreement Form must be completed (and signed) before the internship begins.
  • Three components of an internship:
    1. At least 200 hours of "on-the-job" experience
    2. A written report of the internship experience
    3. An oral presentation detailing your activities during your internship experience (15 minute presentation; 15 minutes of discussion)
  • A faculty advisor will assist you in planning your internship, completing the agreement form, and will be a liaison during your experience if issues or questions arise.
  • A final grade (Pass/No-pass) is assigned after the completion of your oral presentation.
