REAL OREGON is a leadership program that brings future leaders from agriculture, fishing, and forestry together to learn leadership skills and gain a greater understanding of Oregon through a series of statewide sessions.
The program includes five multi-day sessions, which last year took place in Burns, Astoria or Newport, Medford, Salem, and Boardman. The target audience for the program includes producers, those in agricultural support industries, rural community leaders, and government agencies and universities.
Applications are due by July 27. The College of Agricultural Sciences is a sponsor of the program thanks to the support of donors, and the College will pick up half that cost for any OSU faculty/staff who are selected for the program.
