Future Students collage
  • Are you interested in Agriculture and/or Natural Resources?
  • Do you want to attempt to ask and answer interesting questions about agriculture, food systems, natural resources, and the environment?
  • Are you interested in identifying solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges?
  • If so, consider majoring in Agriculture Business Management (ABM) or Environmental Economics and Policy (EEP).
  • ABM teaches students the knowledge and skills they need to manage in the modern and global agriculture and food industries – discover how your local food system interacts with the global market.
  • EEP allows you to study environmental sciences through the lens of human behavior and government policy - you will learn that while policy and human behavior lie at the heart of many challenges, they are also our best hope for creating a better future.
  • Both majors offer an award-winning faculty with a commitment to student academic success, both in and beyond the classroom.
  • We are a collaborative, friendly program where you will know your professors and classmates.

Our undergraduate students come from across the state and country, from all walks of life, and have diverse interests in the future of agriculture and natural resource management in Oregon and beyond. Our students are leaders on campus, in their community, and in their chosen profession. One example is the AEC Academic Quiz Bowl (click here for more information).
